Confidence Journal: InnerProof · Effective date: June 3, 2026
InnerProof is designed as a private journaling app. Journal entries, onboarding choices, reminder settings, mood, local insights, and saved coach feedback are stored on your device unless you choose to request remote coach analysis.
The app may store the following locally so the app can work:
When you request coach feedback and agree to AI processing, your journal entry and relevant onboarding context are sent through the ShortsBlink AI gateway to OpenAI for analysis. The gateway also receives technical request information, including an installation identifier, app version, device OS version, and language. The app uses the response to show a score, what works, weak spots, a stronger rewrite, a self-worth insight, and a next reflection prompt.
If you do not request coach analysis, your journal entries remain local in the app.
Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Subscription management, cancellation, and refund requests are handled by Apple through your Apple ID and App Store settings.
InnerProof sends limited app-use events to Mixpanel, including app launches, onboarding progress, and purchase or restore outcomes. Events may include an installation identifier, app version, language, and technical information related to the event. The app disables automatic event tracking and IP-based geolocation. Journal entry text is not included in these analytics event fields. Mixpanel processes this information under its privacy policy.
InnerProof is a journaling and self-development tool. It is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, crisis support, or emergency support.
