Privacy Policy

Overview

RudiRise is a drum-practice utility. It does not require an account, does not record audio, and does not request microphone, camera, photo-library, contacts, or location access.

Practice data stored on your device

Your onboarding choices, selected language, completed workout history, personal-best tempos, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. RudiRise keeps the full practice history on your device. If you choose optional AI guidance, only the selected practice details described below are sent through our gateway.

Analytics and diagnostics

RudiRise uses Mixpanel's European service for product analytics. It sends a random installation identifier, app/version/build information, language, screen and onboarding-step activity, coarse workout progress such as tempo and completed step counts, subscription product identifiers, purchase or restore outcomes, review-request and review-link actions, and support-composer or mail-handoff outcomes. This information is linked to the random installation identifier so we can understand feature use and improve the app.

Feedback message text and App Store star ratings are not sent to Mixpanel. Apple does not tell the app whether its review prompt appeared or a review was submitted. RudiRise disables Mixpanel automatic event collection and IP-based geolocation. It does not send onboarding answers, practice history, free-form content, payment-card details, or advertising identifiers to Mixpanel. RudiRise does not include a third-party crash-reporting or advertising SDK, and analytics are not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Optional AI guidance

AI guidance is optional and stays off until you explicitly agree in the app. RudiRise sends the selected rudiment, skill level, tempo, practice goal, and device language. It does not send audio or the full practice history.

The request goes through our secure gateway and may be processed by OpenAI or Google Gemini. The gateway records the app, a random installation identifier, country, language, app environment, model, request input and output, status, timing, and cost for up to 90 days so we can provide the feature, investigate failures and abuse, and control spending. These records are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Do not include sensitive personal information that the feature does not need. You can decline and keep using the app without the AI suggestion.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions, purchase history, restoration, and offer-code redemption through StoreKit and the Apple Account. The developer receives entitlement and transaction status needed to unlock Premium but does not receive your full payment-card details.

Children

RudiRise is a general-audience music-practice tool and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian should supervise purchases made by a child.

Data retention and control

Local practice data remains on the device until you remove it through app controls, delete the app, or erase the device. Mixpanel retains analytics information according to its configured retention period. Deleting RudiRise removes local data but does not by itself delete analytics already sent to Mixpanel. You can contact us with a privacy or deletion request using the details below.

Changes

This policy may be updated when RudiRise's features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
