ReadCue is designed as a local-first book tracker. Your saved books, notes, statuses, reading sessions, goals, onboarding choices, and language preference are stored on your device.
ReadCue does not use collected data for advertising tracking and does not link collected user content to your identity.
If you use AI book extraction, the text, image, or short audio note you provide is sent to the configured extraction service to identify book metadata such as title, author, ISBN, categories, summary, and cover details. This processing is used for app functionality and not for advertising tracking.
The App Store privacy label for ReadCue discloses Photos or Videos, Audio Data, and Other User Content as user content used for app functionality.
Books and reading history are saved locally by the app. ReadCue does not require an account and does not sell your reading history.
Purchases, renewals, cancellation, and subscription status are handled by Apple StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
AI extraction may use an app-controlled server and AI or book-metadata providers to process the content you choose to submit. These services are used to return editable book details to the app.
Diagnostics are disabled by default unless a production diagnostics service is configured. If diagnostics are enabled, crash or error information may be used to improve app stability and should be disclosed in App Store privacy details.
