By downloading, installing, or using the SnackGuard mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
SnackGuard is a mobile application that helps users maintain 4-hour gaps between meals, log snacks and meals, receive reminders, and track progress. It is designed for habit support and is not a medical device.
User Accounts and Registration
- You may use core features without creating an account where available
- If you create an account, you must provide accurate information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Input information that you do not have the right to share
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
- Interfere with the App's functionality or security
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Health Disclaimer
- SnackGuard is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice
- Consult a healthcare professional before changing eating patterns
- Users with diabetes, pregnancy, or medical conditions should seek medical guidance
Intellectual Property Rights
- The App and its content are owned by Smart Automation SRL and protected by intellectual property laws
- You retain ownership of entries you add to the App
- By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for App functionality
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App
User Content
- You are solely responsible for content you provide, including notes or photos
- You represent that you have the right to upload and use such content
- We may remove content that violates these Terms
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the App.
Disclaimers
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Reminders and timers depend on device settings and permissions
- Habit guidance is for informational purposes only
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Automation SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the App.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Smart Automation SRL from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time
- We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms
- Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it from your device
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Moldova without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
