DateTalk Trainer offers local quizzes and optional AI conversation coaching. AI coaching sends practice text only after you allow it. We do not create accounts or send dating messages on your behalf. We collect limited pseudonymous usage events to understand and improve the app.
The app may store the following locally on your device so the training experience works:
Local quizzes and educational tips do not send practice replies to an AI service. Conversation review requires an internet connection; there is no offline self-check or substitute score. If you enable AI coaching, your practice reply, the simulated conversation context, selected tone, training difficulty and language are sent over HTTPS through our ShortsBlink gateway (shortsblink.com) to OpenAI’s Luna service to generate contextual feedback and simulated next messages. If Luna is unavailable, DateTalk may send the same requested practice input to Google Gemini Flash-Lite or Anthropic Claude Haiku. Sonnet is excluded. Each permitted service uses the same coaching rubric; these are AI estimates. If all permitted services fail, the app preserves your editable, unscored draft. The gateway also receives a random installation identifier, bundle/app version, operating system and language/region metadata for authorization, limits and service operations. Gateway request and response audit records are encrypted and expire after 90 days; OpenAI processes requests under its API data policies; Google and Anthropic process fallback requests under their respective API data policies. Please use fictional practice text and avoid names, contact details or private chats. You can disable future AI requests in Settings and delete local conversation history and drafts from Progress. Disabling AI or deleting local history does not immediately erase already transmitted gateway/provider records; contact support for data requests. AI scores are coaching estimates, not predictions of dating outcomes. We do not send replies to another person or create user-to-user communication.
We use Mixpanel's EU service to receive app launch and predefined onboarding-answer events. Mixpanel assigns a persistent random identifier to this app installation, which can link launch events from the same device over time. Events include app version, build and bundle identifier. Onboarding events use question/answer codes; free text and sensitive answers use presence or broad buckets. We do not send practice reply text, quiz answer text, names, email addresses, purchase outcomes, or payment details to Mixpanel. Automatic event collection and IP-based geolocation are disabled. Mixpanel processes these events to help us understand app usage.
Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Subscription management, cancellation, and refund requests are handled by Apple through your Apple ID and App Store settings.
We do not use practice replies for advertising or send them to Mixpanel. The app does not implement cross-app advertising tracking.
DateTalk Trainer is intended for adults and is not directed to children.
