GILD AI Privacy Policy

Overview
GILD AI provides makeup-look recommendations, manual tutorials and an optional AI photo preview. This policy explains what data is handled, why it is handled and what choices you have.

Data stored on your device
Your skin type, experience level, makeup goal, starter look, onboarding status, consent choice, credits and subscription state are stored locally so the app can resume your personalized path. GILD AI does not require an account.
Photos chosen from the library or camera remain on your device unless you explicitly approve the optional AI photo-processing step described below.
Optional AI photo processing
When the feature is available and you choose a photo preview, GILD AI first asks for consent. If you agree, the selected photo and named style are securely transmitted to Smart Automation SRL’s processing proxy and then to the AI processor, Replicate, solely to generate the requested preview. The proxy returns the generated image to the app and does not intentionally persist the photo or result.
Replicate processes the data under its own privacy and retention terms. See Replicate’s Privacy Policy. Processing may occur outside your country. Do not use a photo unless you have the right to submit it.
You can decline and use the manual tutorial. You can also withdraw consent in Profile; this blocks future uploads until you consent again. Withdrawal does not retroactively undo processing already completed.
Privacy-safe product analytics
GILD AI uses Mixpanel to understand whether onboarding, navigation, product loading, paywall and optional AI flows work. Events may include a random device identifier, app/bundle/build version, runtime environment, onboarding step, selected tab, App Store product identifiers, product count, named catalogue style, consent/generation status and technical error code or domain.
The app disables automatic Mixpanel events and disables IP-based geolocation. It does not send your photo, tutorial content, personal notes, name, email or the answers’ free-form content to Mixpanel. Mixpanel operates under its Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Apple processes subscription purchases. GILD AI receives App Store product identifiers, localized prices and verified entitlement status so it can show plans and unlock access. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Apple’s handling is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Retention, security and your choices
Local preferences remain until you reset them or remove the app. Analytics data is retained according to the configured Mixpanel workspace settings. Provider-side AI data is governed by Replicate’s current terms. We use HTTPS and limit analytics fields, but no networked system can guarantee absolute security.
You may ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection by emailing us. Include the app name and your request, but do not attach private photos. You may also reset local onboarding data, withdraw future photo-processing consent or delete the app.
Children and changes
GILD AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. We may update this policy when the app or its service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
