Privacy Policy
InspectCue is designed as an on-device inspection tool. Inspection content and draft assistance stay on your device.
At a glance
- No InspectCue account is required.
- Inspection records, photos, notes, signatures, and report branding are stored locally.
- We do not sell personal information and do not use data for cross-app tracking or advertising.
- Finding assistance and supported speech recognition run on-device. This release includes no product analytics or third-party diagnostic SDK.
Data handling
| Data | Purpose and handling |
|---|---|
| Assets, checklists, notes, findings, photos, signatures, and branding | Stored on your device to provide inspections and PDF reports. InspectCue does not transmit or receive this content. |
| Speech input | Requested only when you tap record and processed on-device. If on-device recognition is not supported for the current device and locale, dictation remains unavailable and you can type instead. |
| Draft assistance | Typed or on-device-transcribed observation text is structured by code running inside InspectCue. The observation, equipment type, locale, result, photos, signatures, names, asset IDs, locations, and branding are not sent to us or an AI provider. |
| Product analytics and diagnostics | This release includes no product-analytics or third-party diagnostic SDK and sends no such events to us. |
| Purchases | Apple processes subscription purchases, renewals, restorations, and offer codes. InspectCue receives entitlement and product information, not full payment-card details. |
| Support email | If you contact us, we process the information you choose to provide to answer the request. |
Permissions
Camera and photo access are requested only when you choose evidence capture. Microphone and speech recognition are requested only when you dictate. You can deny these permissions and continue with typed notes and manual findings. Permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app. Deleting the app may remove locally stored data unless it is included in an Apple device backup. Apple retains commerce data under its policies. Support email is retained only as reasonably needed for the request, security, and legal obligations.
Security and transfers
Inspection content is not transferred by InspectCue. If you choose Apple commerce or contact support, those external services use their own protected connections and may process data under their terms. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
InspectCue is an industrial productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can avoid optional assistance, deny permissions, delete local app data, and manage Apple subscriptions in your Apple Account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to support information you voluntarily send. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as InspectCue changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or rights requests: moshnoi2000@gmail.com. Developer: Ion Mosnoi, Republic of Moldova.
